Job Summary
Build department sales through product recommendations, answering guest questions, and suggestive selling. Set and maintain displays, stock, price, and merchandise produce and floral items. Prepare samples, crisp and trim produce, and ensure all items meet specifications. Clean and sanitize department areas, equipment, and utensils while following safe food handling practices. Receive deliveries, rotate, and cull product to ensure freshness. Assist floral department during absences and adhere to all policies. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong communication and selling skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills
- Proficient selling skills, including the ability to ask questions, listen and make product recommendations
- Proficient cleaning abilities to meet sanitation and visual standards
