Job Summary
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport fresh produce to customers on assigned routes, loading and unloading shipments while verifying delivery accuracy against invoices and manifests. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked delivery vehicle, reporting maintenance needs and completing pre/post-trip inspections. Build positive relationships with customers through professional service while adhering to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies. A valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to lift up to 50+ lbs are required. Work early morning hours from 5:30 AM to 12:00 PM, approximately 35 hours per week, with one weekend day required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work early morning hours
- Basic math skills for verifying orders and handling delivery documentation
- One weekend day required (Saturday or Sunday)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in delivery driving, logistics, or food distribution preferred
- Familiarity with local routes in and around Freehold, NJ is a plus
