Job Summary
Stock product and displays ensuring proper grading, rotating, crisping, trimming, wrapping, and watering while maintaining sanitation practices and product code dates. Fill and build displays with accurate pricing, receive and unload daily loads, and put away product in designated areas to protect quality. Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous manner while offering product suggestions and differentiating between various produce types. Assist in checking and verifying receiving, help bag at busy times, and monitor cooler temperatures, reporting refrigeration failures immediately. Adhere to all health and civil code regulations, maintain a clean work area, and exercise safe practices when lifting or moving product.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to work at multiple store locations as needed.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location.
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to push and pull up to 250 lbs.
- Must be able to bend and reach at waist or overhead.
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously.
- Must be able to handle, finger, feel, talk, see, smell, and hear.
- Must be able to use knives.
- Must be able to use a case cutter.
- Must be able to use a power jack.
- Must be able to use a trash compactor.
