Job Summary
Stock and display fresh produce while ensuring proper grading, rotation, and sanitation practices. Greet customers, offer product suggestions, and assist with front-end bagging during busy times. Receive, unload, and put away delivery loads, verifying receiving checks as needed. Maintain organized back rooms, coolers, and display cases, monitoring temperatures and reporting failures. Process merchandise according to guidelines, handle damaged goods, and operate equipment like wrappers and scales. Adhere to all health codes, safety policies, and store rules while maintaining a neat personal appearance. Complete onboarding e-learnings within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to work at multiple store locations as needed
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to push and pull up to 250 lbs
- Must be able to bend and reach at waist or overhead
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously
- Must be able to handle, finger, feel, talk, see, smell, and hear
- Must be able to use knives
- Must be able to use a case cutter
- Must be able to use a power jack
- Must be able to use a trash compactor
