Job Summary
Stock shelves and displays with fresh produce, ensuring proper grading, rotation, and sanitation while maintaining accurate pricing. Greet and assist customers promptly, offering product suggestions and differentiating between varieties based on taste, preparation, and price. Receive, unload, and put away daily loads, then process merchandise according to guidelines, including crisping, trimming, and wrapping damaged or spoiled items. Monitor cooler temperatures, keep work areas clean, and operate equipment like scales and wrappers. Work flexible shifts based on store needs, adhere to health codes, and complete onboarding within 30 days. Salary ranges from $15.00 to $17.90 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to work at multiple store locations as needed.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location.
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to push and pull up to 250 lbs
- Must be able to bend and reach at waist or overhead
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously
- Must be able to handle, finger, feel, talk, see, smell, and hear
- Must be able to use knives
- Must be able to use a case cutter
