Job Summary
Produce Clerk in the Produce department at BJ’s Wholesale Club. Responsibilities include sorting, displaying, removing, and replenishing fresh fruits and vegetables; assisting Members with product knowledge and customer service; inspecting, rotating, and storing produce; keeping displays neat, stocked, and within company quality standards; rotating stock, managing the produce reserve area, and disposing of damaged or expired items. Also assists with inventory and order processing as needed, maintains club policies and signage, and performs other duties as assigned. Requires strong teamwork, willingness to comply with club standards, attention to safety and cleanliness, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Role is part-time with a compensation range of $18.00–$21.60 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience in a produce department preferred
- Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items
- At least 18 years of age
