Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service, gain product knowledge, and rotate merchandise to ensure stock levels and cleanliness. Perform quality assurance checks, control shrink, and follow health and safety policies while acting as a safety role model. Engage guests through suggestive selling and sampling, educate them on seasonality, and promote established programs. Maintain inventory accuracy and adhere to all store procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Food Handler's Certification
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Associates of organization
- Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to adjust focus
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Ability to follow all store and department policies and procedures
- Ability to follow all Health Code guidelines
