Job Summary
Engage with guests by assisting them in finding items, taking orders, and addressing concerns while maintaining stock levels through first-in, first-out rotation. Keep the sales floor and cooler clean, log temperatures, and order supplies like dips and herbs to ensure freshness. Perform other duties as needed and honor attendance commitments for this part-time role scheduled for 28 hours a week or less. Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Full range of upper body motion
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
- May be exposed to extreme temperatures
- Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding service
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies
- Knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
