Job Summary
Sort, display, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department while maintaining optimal freshness and variety. Inspect, rotate, and store produce upon delivery, ensuring all items meet company quality standards. Provide assistance to members by answering questions, recommending products, and offering safe handling tips. Clean and sanitize all equipment, display fixtures, and cooler areas; generate signage and perform price checks to ensure accuracy. Maintain reserve stock areas and dispose of damaged or expired products per guidelines. Assist the Fresh Manager with inventory and order processing as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Work experience in a produce department preferred
- Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items
