Job Summary
Engage guests in-person and via phone by assisting with item selection, taking orders, and addressing concerns. Maintain stock levels and cooler organization using the first-in, first-out method to ensure freshness. Keep the sales floor clean, log temperatures, and complete daily rotation and shrink recording sheets. Order supplies such as dips, spices, and herbs as needed. Perform other team duties and adhere to the part-time schedule of 28 hours or less, with shifts varying across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Full range of upper body motion
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
- May be exposed to extreme temperatures
- Knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations
- Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding service
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies
- Ability to utilize equipment such as trash compactor, baler, slicers, etc.
