Job Summary
Engage with guests in-person and via phone by assisting with item findings, taking orders, and addressing concerns. Maintain stock levels and cooler organization using first-in, first-out rotation while ensuring sales floors remain clean and free of spills. Log produce temperatures daily, complete rotation and shrink recording sheets, and order dips, spices, and herbs as needed. Perform other duties to support the team and maintain regular attendance with adequate notice for absences. This part-time role involves 28 hours or less per week with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Full range of upper body motion
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
- May be exposed to extreme temperatures
- Knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations
- Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding service
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
