Job Summary
Engage guests in-person and via phone by assisting with item searches, taking orders, and addressing concerns. Maintain stock levels and cooler displays using first-in, first-out rotation while ensuring cleanliness, temperature logging, and daily shrink recording. Order supplies such as roll bags, twist ties, dips, spices, and herbs as needed. Perform other team duties and adhere to the part-time schedule of 28 hours or less, which may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Full range of upper body motion
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
- May be exposed to extreme temperatures
- Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding service
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies
- Knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
