Job Summary
Engage guests in-person and via phone by assisting with item selection, taking orders, and addressing concerns. Maintain stock levels and cooler organization using first-in, first-out rotation to ensure freshness and display items according to company standards. Keep the sales floor and cooler clean, log produce temperatures, and complete daily rotation and shrink recording sheets. Order supplies such as roll bags, twist ties, dips, spices, and herbs as needed. Perform other duties as required to support the team and ensure regular, timely attendance while providing adequate notice for occasional absences. This part-time role supports our 40+ Wisconsin supermarkets, offering fresh produce delivered daily to guests.
Required Qualifications
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Full range of upper body motion
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
- May be exposed to extreme temperatures
- Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding service
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies
- Knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
