Job Summary
Greet customers with a smile, assist with shopping needs, and answer phones promptly. Review merchandise status for freshness, rotate product to maintain quality, and develop production lists to anticipate daily needs. Check in deliveries, review invoices, and price products as required. Practice proper sanitation, keep work areas clean, and remove trash. Order supplies and pitch in with special projects. This role supports the produce department, which serves as a key first impression for shoppers. Hy-Vee provides all necessary training.
