Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •A food handling permit
• •Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino Learning Plan
• •Knowledge of and ability to implement the Cosentino Customer Service Standards
• •Ability to operate, clean and maintain all equipment safely and competently
• •Ability to meet or exceed productivity standards
• •Ability to remove damaged, un-saleable or returnable product from shelves and follow proper procedures for damage claims
• •Ability to keep work area and department clean and safe for customers and coworkers
• •Ability to quickly unload and sort incoming shipments and neatly stock them in their designated areas without damaging merchandise
• •Ability to label or price any merchandise that requires marking and know how to obtain price signs when necessary
• •Knowledge of department products, procedures and policies
• •Ability to resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
• •Ability to know, comply with, and encourage other team members to comply with all health regulations, sanitation guidelines and safety procedures
• •Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
• •Basic math and reading skills
• •Ability to reach overhead with both arms up to a maximum of 72 inches, twisting at the waist and lifting objects with both hands weighing up to 20 lbs
• •Ability to push and pull grocery items to the proper locations as needed, up to a peak force of 25 lbs
• •Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time on tile, asphalt, concrete or other hard surfaces
• •Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• •Ability to bend and squat, at times all the way to floor level
• •Ability to work in colder conditions of the grocery coolers and freezers
