Job Summary
Chop Shop Clerk in the Produce department responsible for stocking shelves, washing/cutting/prepping fruit, pricing merchandise, and delivering high-quality customer service. Must understand produce varieties, sourcing, shelf life, and use of scales; focus on building repeat business through excellent service and a friendly, energetic atmosphere. Works under the Produce Manager; duties emphasize hospitality, teamwork, and adherence to the 15 Second Service customer approach. Education requirement includes a high school diploma or GED, with 3–6 months of related experience or an equivalent combination. The role is hourly, nonexempt, and performed in-person in Santa Barbara, CA.
