Job Summary
Receive and unload produce deliveries, then stock, rotate, and restock department products to ensure freshness and date control. Greet, assist, and thank customers promptly while offering product suggestions and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Operate department equipment safely, comply with food safety regulations, and report unsafe conditions or policy violations to management. Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and performing other duties as assigned. This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Customer service experience
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
- Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Prior experience in a retail or grocery environment
- Knowledge of produce items and their seasonality
