Job Summary
Receive and unload produce deliveries, then stock, rotate, and restock fresh and prepared produce to ensure freshness and date control. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils, while operating department tools safely. Provide continuous customer service by greeting, assisting, and offering product suggestions in a prompt, courteous manner. Adhere to all food safety regulations and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or policy violations to management. Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Perform other duties as assigned, including stocking and cleaning.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Customer service experience
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends
