Job Summary
Produce Associate handles daily produce department tasks including planning attractive displays, culls for quality control, stocking, filling special orders, putting away orders, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Responsibilities include acquiring knowledge of produce, stocking and merchandising, rotating stock, pulling shrink daily, and keeping up-to-date product knowledge while engaging customers. Requires strong communication, ability to work independently with a sense of urgency, and willingness to work a varied schedule (including weekends/evenings) in a temperature-controlled environment (0 to 50 degrees) with lift limits up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Be production driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks
- Possess the ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Must be willing to work the non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings
