Job Summary
Provide exceptional service to all clientele while sharing expert knowledge on produce. Assist the Produce Manager in maintaining, stocking, cleaning, and ensuring proper signage in the Produce Department. Properly cull, rotate, and restock fresh produce items. Keep the prep area, walk-in cooler, and sales floor clean. Follow all safety guidelines and report any missing or non-functional safety equipment. Complete all required company training and stay updated on the latest produce knowledge. This role requires the ability to lift 60 lb. boxes and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently, along with dexterous hand use for handling materials and using knives.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
