Job Summary
Maintain, stock, and clean the produce department while culling, rotating, and restocking fresh items. Provide exceptional service to clientele by sharing expert knowledge on produce and keeping the prep area, walk-in cooler, and sales floor clean. Follow all safety guidelines, report missing equipment, and complete required training. Lift 60 lb. boxes and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently while using knives and sharp instruments. Work on floors that sometimes become slippery with good vision and hearing. Assist the Produce Manager in keeping proper signage and complying with dress code and name tag policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
