Job Summary
Assist the Produce Manager in maintaining, stocking, cleaning, and keeping proper signage in the Produce Department. Provide exceptional service to all clientele while sharing expert knowledge on produce. Properly cull, rotate, and restock items, ensuring the prep area, walk-in cooler, and sales floor remain clean. Follow all safety guidelines and company policies, including dress code and required training. Lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently while handling materials. Use knives and sharp instruments for food preparation and removing product from boxes.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
