Job Summary
Assist the Produce Manager in stocking, cleaning, and maintaining signage within the Produce Department while culling, rotating, and restocking fresh produce. Provide exceptional service to clientele by sharing expert knowledge on produce and keeping the prep area, walk-in cooler, and sales floor clean. Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and dress codes, including completing required training and reporting missing safety equipment. This role requires lifting 60 lb. boxes and exerting significant force frequently, with the ability to use knives and work on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to stoop
- Must have the ability to kneel
- Must have the ability to reach
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
