Job Summary
Assist the Produce Manager in maintaining, stocking, cleaning, and keeping proper signage in the Produce Department. Provide exceptional service to all clientele while culling, rotating, and restocking fresh produce. Keep the prep area, walk-in cooler, and sales floor clean. Follow all safety guidelines and company policies, including dress code and training requirements. This full-time or part-time entry-level role involves lifting up to 60 lb. boxes and using knives for food preparation. Pyramid Foods supports local communities by delivering quality food and service at the best prices.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to stoop
- Must have the ability to kneel
- Must have the ability to reach
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
