Job Summary
Manage department inventory, pricing integrity, and operational processes with significant attention to detail. Greet guests proactively to provide accurate service recommendations and accommodate special requests. Direct teams to handle, slice, and prepare specialty produce items, fruit and veggie platters, and Convenient Meal Solutions while maintaining quality product levels. Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members on-the-job and through internal platforms to ensure excellent guest service in a safe environment. Monitor order guides, deadlines, and shrink/damage reduction. Replenish product levels following rotation standards. This fast-paced role requires efficiency and a passion for excellence within The Fresh Market's diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality field
- Ability to read, understand and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays
