Job Summary
Manage raw material inventory by putting away deliveries, updating records, and rotating ingredients using a first-in/first-out method to ensure consistent supply for production. Resolve order discrepancies, report quality deviations and safety concerns promptly to supervisors, and maintain full compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Collaborate with the production team to forecast needs while adhering to all safety guidelines and physical demands of the warehouse environment. Available Monday through Friday from 5:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of experience in inventory, receiving, warehouse, food production, procurement support, or a similar environment
- Available to work Monday-Friday 5:45 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- Part-time employment availability
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to use hands to handle food products and processing equipment
- Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (hairnet, facemask, gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
- Ability to reach with arms or hands, including overhead
- Ability to lift and carry varying objects of 15 - 40 lbs., and up to 75lbs. throughout the day
- Ability to maintain and update raw material inventory
- Ability to resolve issues or discrepancies with orders and deliveries
- Ability to update procurement-related data and maintain records of purchases
- Ability to put away food orders and rotate ingredients to product quality (first-in/first-out)
- Ability to report deviations or issues promptly to the production supervisor
- Ability to ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies
- Ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, regular handwashing and proper glove usage
- Ability to collaborate effectively with production team members to forecast production needs
- Ability to communicate openly to maintain a harmonious and efficient work environment
- Ability to adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
- Ability to report safety concerns and incidents promptly to supervisors
