Job Summary
Independently prepare and conduct negotiations with suppliers for assigned materials and services as per the preferred vendor list. Conduct S2C support in collaboration with the Local Buyer, harmonize specifications to reduce supplier complexity, and execute RFQs while coordinating onboarding with K-C Vendor Due diligence. Provide timely analysis for invoicing and order placement issues, drive project SR requests, and schedule status meetings to update management on task progress and completion dates. Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant policies, KC Procurement Guidelines, and trade controls through proper documentation and quarterly SOP reviews. Achieve cost-saving targets and increase working capital while utilizing systems such as Coupa and SAP MM.
Required Qualifications
- Min. diploma/degree in engineering (especially mechanical, electrical)
- Minimum 3-5 years' work experience in procurement of technical materials / services, engineering, or similar areas
- Excellent oral and written communication in Korean and English
- SAP system / Coupa / Taulia knowledge
- Expertise in procurement methodologies and processes as well as negotiation tactics
- Good knowledge of business, finance, and supply chain concepts
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Competency in computer applications, especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Visio
- knowledge of SAP MM
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
