Job Summary
Procurement Support Specialist coordinates procurement lifecycle, collaborates with Procurement staff to ensure smooth flow of processes, greets vendors and office visitors, maintains PC-based procurement records, tracks contracts and milestones (renewals, insurance, amendments), prepares correspondence and reports, coordinates internal and external communications for the Procurement Manager, assists with ordering, receiving, and payment of county goods and services, maintains vendor websites and intranet procurement content, communicates changes on orders and resolves discrepancies between POs and invoices, educates department employees and vendors on procurement policies, assists with disposal of county property, performs general office support (including visa allocation, internal vouchers, and audit-related tasks), and supports various records and reporting duties as assigned. Skills emphasized include public service mindset, customer service, teamwork, technology proficiency, communication, and a willingness to learn modern systems.
