Job Summary
Procurement Specialist at Yancey Engineered Solutions, part of Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia. Responsible for working with vendors to ensure best pricing, writing POs in YES PO system, and ensuring on-time delivery of parts. Collaborates with project management to procure parts, obtains quotes from multiple vendors, closes procurement gaps with production leadership, and provides weekly updates on part procurement. Must participate in required safety program and contribute to a team-focused, customer-service oriented environment. Requires procurement experience, strong sense of urgency, and teamwork; high emphasis on safety, integrity, excellence, and continuous improvement. Preferred bachelor's degree; high school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced problem solving capabilities
- PC proficiency
