Job Summary
Procurement Specialist, Transportation Market at Gresham Smith. As a Procurement Specialist, you will: Manage the procurement process and support clients in procuring goods and services; Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; Collaborate with Project Managers, Program Managers, PX, and Project Directors to understand project requirements, objectives, and milestones; Negotiate and draft contract terms and conditions; Maintain accurate records and document control systems; Monitor contract performance, expirations, and related timelines; Coordinate procurement schedules with project timelines and resource requirements; Perform other related project controls duties as assigned. Your work will directly contribute to shaping environments where people live, work, and thrive, all while growing your career within a supportive, people-first culture.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Real Estate, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of procurement, contract management, or project controls experience
- Expert knowledge of contract methodologies and procurement processes
- Experience with basic business accounting and project management functions
- Proficiency in MS Office, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Teams
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under strict deadlines
- Curiosity, creativity, and a collaborative spirit
