Job Summary
Execute day-to-day procurement activities for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services across Europe locations. Act as the operational point of contact for suppliers and partners, confirming order acknowledgements, lead times, and delivery dates while negotiating project pricing to drive profitability. Raise purchase orders for operations projects, small works, system training, and IT stock based on approved requisitions, ensuring alignment with project budgets and delivery schedules. Manage the savings tracker, report supplier SLAs, and maintain accurate records for all procurement transactions. Liaise with key stakeholders, Project Managers, and Warehouse teams to reorder inventory and escalate supply risks impacting customer delivery. Monitor stock trends, provide forecasts, and support the rollout of standardized procurement processes and tools across Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Strong telephone and personal customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Solid Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word skills
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple project tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Effective communication with suppliers / partners and internal stakeholders
- Solid ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members
- Ability to use multiple ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluency in English
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. NVQ [National Vocational Qualification] in Business Administration)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Previous procurement and supplier relationship experience
- Previous experience in supplier evaluation and best practices in buying
- Experience in a service integrator, system integrator, or project-based environment
- Hands-on experience with ERP/P2P systems and service-based procurement workflows
- Additional European languages
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration (a plus)
