Job Summary
Procurement Specialist will prepare and evaluate bids, monitor supplier performance, develop cost-saving initiatives, and resolve purchasing issues for systems and composites in aerospace manufacturing. Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, conducting bid evaluations, negotiating terms to achieve cost reductions, preparing definitive purchase orders, administering contracts within budget, and coordinating supplier information and performance. Must ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and related aerospace regulations; requires cross-functional collaboration and a strong emphasis on supplier relationships and delivering value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business administration or related curriculum required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years Procurement, supply chain or related experience. Master's degree may offset two (2) years of the experience requirement.
