Job Summary
Plan sourcing of goods and services to support manufacturing, field operations, technology, or project management strategic plans at the plant level. Execute Category Management strategies in accordance with policies and procedures. Issue purchase orders in response to material requirements and implement local procurement agreements. Create RFQs and organize competitive bidding to obtain best quality, delivery, and price. Assess supplier performance; responsibilities contribute to cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and operations. Experience with SAP ECC/S4/HANA and CPM certification preferred; knowledge of Purchase to Pay and electronic component/PCBa purchasing is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or similar discipline required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or production environment.
- Advanced procurement certification preferred (CPM, etc.).
- Purchase to Pay knowledge is desirable.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or S4/HANA is preferred.
- Electronic component and/or PCBa purchasing experience encouraged.
