Job Summary
Manage and administer the subcontract life cycle process for assigned projects, including drafting RFP packages, negotiating terms, and creating purchase orders in internal vendor management systems. Expedite suppliers and subcontractors while coordinating closely with engineering project managers, contractors, and client personnel. Perform risk assessments on subcontracts, monitor contract performance, and handle record keeping, document control, and vendor invoice processing. This hybrid role requires three days in our Indianapolis, IN office and two days working remotely.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and/or contract administration
- Strong written, verbal, & people communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with project managers, engineers, clients, suppliers and contractors as necessary
- MS Office Suite proficiency
- This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with the expectation of 3 days in our Indianapolis, IN office and 2 days working remotely from home.
Desired Qualifications
- Power industry experience supporting large power generation, substation or transmission line projects
- CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) and/or C.P.M (Certified Purchasing Manager) designation
- Experience with Workday and MS Outlook
