Job Summary
Plan and execute procurement of materials and services by creating and maintaining purchase orders while evaluating suppliers to create synergy across business organizations. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to advance supply chain initiatives, track spend areas, and report supplier performance metrics. Monitor open purchase orders, confirm shipping schedules, and resolve material availability issues to ensure on-time deliveries. Manage the contract lifecycle and QAD system to ensure data integrity, leveraging AI-driven tools for productivity and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Procurement or Supply Chain
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain
- Demonstrated experience using AI-powered software and platforms
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation
- experience working in a regulated industry such as medical device or similar current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) environment
- Ability to gain trust and confidence of internal stakeholders and the supplier base
- Strong persuasive communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to support multiple functional areas
- Familiarity with general AI concepts and their practical applications to streamline daily tasks and communications
- Project management skills with the ability to track, report, and deliver expected results from start to finish
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation preferred
