Job Summary
Procurement Specialist at Lightship responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services globally, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and supporting rapid product development with supply chain insights. Key duties include optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs and lead times, monitoring spend, implementing process improvements, and managing risk. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize data-driven insights for strategic decisions, and report to the Global Supply Chain Manager to ensure compliant, cost-effective procurement for Lightship’s all-electric RV components and services.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years supply chain experience with strong supplier relationship experience and sourcing knowledge or equivalent
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of ERP Systems with specific experience creating PO’s, executing Item Receipts, updating Item Inventory Cards and Vendor Information, as well as executing Inventory Adjustments with appropriate Financial details
- Experience in fostering relationships with new and current supply bases
- Ability to prioritize while multi tasking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
