Procurement Specialist

Job Summary
Respond promptly to purchase requests and place orders accurately within procedural guidelines. Track deliveries and communicate timing to requisitioners while maintaining effective interfaces with customer order managers, factories, and external vendors. Optimize stock levels to fulfill internal and external needs, assist in Item Master record maintenance, and contribute to ERP implementation. Maintain complete procurement and order processing files and measure supplier performance. Provide backup support for other supply chain specialists. Utilize the ERP system and Microsoft Office Suite to manage deadlines and achieve goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Effectively utilizes ERP system
- Strong analytical skills
- systematic approach in overcoming impediments
- Effective Project Management - including managing deadlines, identifying stakeholders, understanding, communicating and achieving goals
- Time management –Effectively prioritizes tasks and manages multiple projects simultaneously
