Job Summary
Process purchase orders for materials, equipment, tools, and services while coordinating procurement of electrical balance of systems for active construction projects. Obtain vendor quotes, compare pricing and lead times, and track delivery status to ensure materials arrive on time and within budget. Review order confirmations, invoices, and receiving documentation for accuracy, then allocate warehouse inventory to support project requirements. Resolve issues related to pricing, delivery discrepancies, and product quality while maintaining accurate purchasing records. Travel periodically to warehouse locations and project sites for inventory verification and material coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid passport
- Applicants being considered for hire must pass a background check and drug test
- Willingness and ability to travel for short-duration assignments as needed
- Travel required approximately 30% of the time or as project needs arise
- 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, construction support, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field
- Experience with procurement, purchasing, logistics, inventory management, or construction support
- Basic understanding of electrical materials, tools, equipment, and construction-related supplies
