Job Summary
Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, vendor selection, purchase orders, contract administration, and supplier performance management. Research, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimal pricing, quality, delivery, and service terms while resolving vendor issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, and invoicing. Prepare and process purchase requisitions, monitor inventory levels, and analyze spending trends to identify cost savings and process improvements. Ensure all activities comply with company policies and contractual obligations, then track key metrics and provide regular reports to leadership. Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and department leaders to forecast purchasing needs and budgets, maintaining accurate records and supplier databases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience
- Knowledge of purchasing practices, contract management, and vendor negotiations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience working with ERP, purchasing, or procurement management systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), or equivalent
- Experience with strategic sourcing initiatives
- Knowledge of supplier performance management and procurement analytics
- Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, technology, construction, or other relevant industry environments
