Procurement Specialist

Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers. Requires knowledge of commonly-used concepts and practices in procurement. Works under immediate supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with at least 2 years of buying experience. Candidates with supply chain experience, operations/new product sourcing experience, and familiarity with government FAR clauses will be favored.
