Job Summary
Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, issuing and managing purchase orders, developing supplier relationships, monitoring inventory, coordinating with warehouse/engineering/production teams, resolving supplier quality and delivery issues, tracking procurement metrics and cost-saving initiatives, and supporting production planning and scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Experience working with vendors and suppliers
- Proficiency with Google Suite & Monday, or ability to learn quickly
