Job Summary
Procurement Specialist to select and purchase quality products, process purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers, track orders, perform quality assurance, and liaise with program teams and management. Must be analytically minded with strong negotiating skills to secure best pricing within budget. Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree, experience with FAR/DFAR procurement, advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), excellent communication, strong organization, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SSBI. Responsibilities include supplier relationship building, requisition processing, order status updates, coordinating transport and delivery, analyzing market trends for buying decisions, coordinating with program teams, and assessing stock quality with escalation of discrepancies. Salary range: $65,000 - $110,000 (experience dependent). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Experience with FAR and DFAR procurement preferred
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
- Critical thinking and organization skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance with SSBI
