Job Summary
Oversee the review and analysis of procurement requirements for internal and external customers across major NSWCDD programs. Determine compliant procurement vehicles conforming to FAR requirements and assist customers with documentation to ensure audit readiness. Manage the full life-cycle process including material screening, IT Procurement Review coordination, PR creation, buying actions, discrepancy reporting, and DRMO coordination. Leverage Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) knowledge to advise on purchases and develop acquisition packages. Exercise independent judgment in interpreting requirements and expedite responses to meet critical mission needs. Engage professionally with stakeholders at multiple levels. Requires an Associate's degree or three years of experience, proficiency in MILSTRIP and IBPES, and ability to work independently across online systems. Located in Dahlgren, VA, this Secret clearance role supports Naval Surface Warfare Center operations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- three (3) years or more of related work experience
- Ability to work independently across multiple online systems to resolve issues and respond to customer inquiries
- Knowledge of MILSTRIP
- Knowledge of IBPES
- Knowledge of other tools/systems used to support the procurement process
