Procurement Specialist

Develop complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials, serving as the liaison between vendors and users. Resolve complex delivery, quality, or invoice problems while developing project plans and purchasing systems for domestic and international purchases. Negotiate prices, terms, and quality requirements, evaluate market conditions, and guide value analysis to identify cost improvements through make-versus-buy analysis and alternative sourcing. Manage a portfolio of supplier relationships, negotiate price increase requests, prepare RFQ packs, run bidding processes, and conduct negotiations for medium purchasing volumes. Ensure close cooperation with internal customers, engineering teams, and supplier quality teams to ensure customer care and early involvement. Support implementation of globally defined methods and processes to ensure high process efficiency and compliance with Purchase-to-Pay guidelines. Contribute to and lead Procurement Business Plan activities. Requires strong SAP experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with excellent organizational skills.
