Job Summary
Local Procurement Specialist (20h per week) in Vienna responsible for stakeholder management, developing local relationships, and driving procurement best practices. Acts as the procurement business partner for local stakeholders, supports global category strategies, reviews and simplifies procurement processes, assesses the vendor landscape, and ensures compliance with purchasing processes. Requires 1-3 years procurement-related experience, education in economics/management or similar, strong IT and SAP/GEP skills, and excellent written and verbal communication in English (German a plus). The role is autonomous, with the candidate as the sole representative for indirect local procurement in Vienna; benefits include flexible hours and a modern office setting.
Required Qualifications
- Education in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or similar
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience within procurement, project management, sourcing, category management or business developments
- Experience with IT applications (MS Office or Google)
- Experience with SAP/GEP systems
- Strong stakeholder management and communication
- English language skills (German a plus)
- Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset
- Autonomy to operate as sole representative for indirect local procurement in Vienna
