Job Summary
Act as an internal consultant to source materials, equipment, supplies, and/or services for internal business units. Manage the end-to-end Strategic Sourcing process from initiation to final recommendation, perform market research to identify potential suppliers, provide analytics to support procurement initiatives and contract negotiations, and make recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. Some travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year College or University
- Experience in a project management environment – preferably working with large projects collaborating with cross functional teams
- Comfortability with reviewing, managing, and interpreting large and/or complex data sets
- A communication style that can adjust to people at various levels and functions within the organization as well as externally; the ability to convey complex information in a way that is easily understood by the receiving audience
- Comfortability handling multiple concurrent projects
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
