Procurement Partner | Brisbane

Job Summary
Procurement Partner drives multi-year procurement and division strategies, aligning with site leadership to optimize quality, cycle time, technology, risk, and total cost of ownership. Partners with Category Managers, R&D, and Engineering to deliver annual value improvements, lead supplier negotiations, manage supplier relationships and performance, support New Product Introduction, and ensure compliance with Enterprise Processes (Supplier Quality, Supplier Risk, Supplier Management). Focus areas include direct/indirect spend (about 75% direct, 25% indirect), cost savings projects, and cross-functional execution to meet AOP objectives. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 5–10 years procurement experience, and strong procurement/analytic capabilities; MBA preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Materials Management or a scientific field (Biology or Chemistry) is required
- Experience 5 - 10 years of sourcing and procurement management experience
- Experience in direct materials sourcing is highly preferred
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience working in international or global environments preferred
- Experience in life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries preferred
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities in core Procurement skills (engineering, sourcing)
- Demonstrated business/financial acumen with ERP, MRP
- Strong influencing skills; cross-functional collaboration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Results-oriented, metrics-driven leadership with continuous improvement mindset
