Job Summary
Procurement Operations Specialist responsible for executing daily procurement operations, maintaining procurement processes and internal controls, and driving source-to-pay efficiencies within the U.S. organization. Hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in the Concord, MA office. Key duties include coordinating requisitions and purchase orders, resolving PO/invoice issues, supporting P2P with Finance and Accounts Payable, assisting month-end accruals, maintaining SOPs and training materials, supporting onboarding, processing daily procurement transactions and T&E, ensuring policy compliance, generating routine reports, and providing guidance on procurement systems and policies. Requires a Business Degree with 5+ years in procurement, strong P2P knowledge, ERP proficiency (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, COUPA, Concur), excellent organization and cross-functional collaboration skills, and willingness to work in a hybrid office setting. Preferred experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries and familiarity with COUPA/Concur and SAP S/4Hana.
Required Qualifications
- Business Degree with minimum 5+ years of procurement experience
- Strong understanding of procurement and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
- Experience with procurement systems/ERP platforms
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience supporting process improvement and change management
- Proficiency with COUPA and Concur (preferred)
- Familiarity with SAP S4Hana (a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
