Job Summary
Procurement Officer to lead end-to-end procurement for Public Skills Australia, ensuring financial compliance and providing procurement advice to executives. Responsibilities include delivering PSA’s procurement function, sitting on procurement evaluation panels for contracts/tenders, developing Indigenous and Veterans business engagement panels, delivering timely quality work, modeling professional behaviour, collaborating across teams, drafting board/financial position papers, and supporting governance through the Board and Audit, Finance and Risk Committee. Requires tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, plus demonstrated experience in procurement, finance, budgeting, and not-for-profit/government contexts. Required Qualifications
- 1.Tertiary qualification(s) and/or equivalent experience relevant to the responsibilities of the position.
- 2.Demonstrated experience delivering consultancy and services procurement, finance, budgeting, and accounting services within an organisation, in partnership with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
- 3.Demonstrated ability to develop, support and advocate organisational position(s) with internal and external stakeholders as it relates to procurement and finance.
- 4.Demonstrated experience consistently delivering high quality verbal and written content on time and to required standards.
- 5.Demonstrated experience delivering successful outcomes whilst exhibiting professional behaviour in line with organisational values.
