Job Summary
Procurement Manager responsible for leading the organization's procurement function, overseeing buyers and purchasing specialists, and driving supplier performance, cost reductions, and compliance with FAR/DFARS. Partners with Operations, Programs, Engineering, Finance, and Quality to optimize sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and support program readiness and EBITDA objectives. Focus areas include procurement lifecycle management, strategic sourcing, competitive supplier selection, cost control, risk mitigation, and adherence to company policies and government regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 7+ years of procurement experience
- Demonstrated experience in BOTH Government contracting environment (FAR/DFARS) and Commercial / private-sector procurement
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in both compliance-driven and fast-paced commercial environments
